I absolutely love photographing a sports team in action. It isn't just about the peak scoring moments but about the story-telling arch that follows every game. And those small details: those looks and tears, supportive high-fives, and helping each other up off of the field. With my family photography I spend a lot of energy finding and creating the moments with you that make for great pictures, but with my action photography, I get to stay on the sidelines, finding moments as they happen. For this to work, it is important that I have access to the sidelines and the coach's consent to unobtrusively hang near the team.
